On November 10, 2024, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organized a significant Doctors’ Meet at Koti YMI in Hyderabad. The gathering brought together 157 doctors from diverse specialties, united by a shared commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery across communities.
The Agenda: Strengthening Healthcare Synergy
The primary focus of the meet was to explore collaborative opportunities among four key organizations:
- Seva Bharathi: Known for its grassroots outreach initiatives.
- Arogya Bharathi: Dedicated to promoting health awareness and wellness.
- Saksham: Focused on supporting people with disabilities.
- National Medicos Organization (NMO): Engages medical professionals in social service.
This collaboration seeks to maximize collective impact by leveraging the strengths of each organization to address healthcare challenges effectively, especially for the needy communities.

The meet featured insights from two highly respected speakers:
- Dr. Ashwini Kumar Tupakarey, Founder Member of Dr. Hedgewar Rugnalaya, who emphasized the importance of medical professionals contributing to societal well-being through community health initiatives.
- Dr. Avinash Wachasunder, an ENT surgeon and Founder of Cochlea Pune, discussed innovative approaches in ENT care and the role of collaboration in expanding access to specialized treatments.
