Many lost lives in the pandemic, mainly the distressed affected in wave 2 in many aspects: food, bed, health, wealth, loss of a breadwinner, and many more. Seva Bharathi responded to every problem and started Isolation centers, Intensive Critical Care Units, distribution of Medical Kits, Grocery Kits, and Oxygen Concentrators. Almost 80 patients were discharged with great health by taking nutritional food and intensive care from doctors and nurses. We are very grateful to our partners who supported us to achieve the milestones. The call center which is being operated for 18×7 hours is a huge success. There was fear and risk for the life of Volunteers serving Covid positive patients. But the Seva Bharathi team along with the Doctors planned and executed the whole Medical service without any issue. Daily we are receiving thousands of calls. Seva Bharathi collaborated with many hospitals and our volunteers on a daily basis to collect the data on oxygen beds availability, verify the data and provide the information to the patients. In parallel, Seva Bharathi distributed the food and shelter to the doctors and nurses who are on COVID duty. Seva Bharati worked as a bridge between the needy and society. Serving our society is our innate feeling of love towards society from times immemorial. All the volunteers, Doctors, donors, many organizations, institutions, and individuals are to be complimented for such a massive service. My heartfelt pranams to all of them.
